To kick off the start of the New Year, I will build on the strategy of 2011, posting at least once each week. I will be posting a new blog entry each week, but it will have a deadline on Tuesday, 10:00 AM (PST). The topics will vary but will always tie in to the main issue of this blog; forcing myself to create, produce and develop habits for improving my writing. This post is the first of 52 that will adhere to the dreaded Tuesday deadline.
Next up is the exercise of writing and posting on other sites for writing prompts. Previously, I found myself pressed for time and not devoting enough effort to the task. Differing subjects, deadlines and hard work are present in every facet of life so half-assed submissions will no longer suffice. To meet this goal, I will be crafting one post per month for a writing prompt on another page.
Lastly, I have evaluated my efforts from the last few months and set new deadlines for some projects. The biggest project from 2011 was the Christmas Kids Book and I will continue editing it through the spring. I will have the final draft ready for publication by October 1st, 2012. Second on the list is the d20 Adventure and that has been bumped to June 1st, 2012. In addition to the goals and projects from last year, I’ve been developing some new ideas and will reveal them here in the next few weeks.

To conclude this entry I would like to say, that I look forward to the challenges that 2012 holds and I will strive to grow in my personal and professional writing. This is just the beginning of a long year that will be filled with many rewarding hours of writing, reading and hopefully enjoyment. Here is a quick recap of my goals for 2012:
- Post a blog entry each week by Tuesday, 10:00 AM (PST)
- Post on a writing prompt once per month (Don't forget "p1c3")
- Complete/Publish Christmas Kids Books by 10/01/12
- Complete/Publish d20 Adventure by 06/01/12
- Reveal more later…
Thanks for reading~
I love the goals, I wish you luck, and don't think I won't be following up on them later!
